ALBANY BUSINESS REVIEW: Tech Valley High – the education model New York needs
On July 17, 2012, The Albany Business Review published an op-ed by John Cavalier, retired CEO of MapInfo, Inc. The op-ed detailed the growing “skills gap” and the importance of incorporating career relevance in high schools. He highlighted Tech Valley High School in the Capital Region as a school that has been very successful in preparing students to compete in a global economy.
